The issue is not Islamaphobia. The issue is what has been happening in the muslim countries. A girl who is 11 year old with down syndrome was arrested upon a fabricated allegation made by a muslim priest. The lawyer in Pakistan said he and his fellow muslim radicals will take the law in their hands, if the girl is not punished (death is the proposed punishment). The issue is our ambassador in Libya was murdered along with three other Americans like you and I. Other communities do not run around and attack others. Other communities do not yell out for beheading like the muslim protesters in Australia did today. People of God will pray for them to have a change of heart. you can protest but you cannot and you must not react with violence, especially when someone comes up with a youtube movie or an article. Come on, the criticism of the very blasphemy law resulted in the brutal murder of two leaders, ministers in Pakistan. As a community it is everyone's right to protest in a modern world. But it must be in a very peaceful way. Do these protesters have anything else to do other than attacking and killing. They kill their own as the media (all media) reports all the time. May God help them change their hearts and also help them to live like people in a civilized society.

പ്രവാചകനെതിരെ അപവാദപ്രചരണങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുന്നത്‌ ആധുനിക മീഡിയകള്‍ വഴിയാണ്‌. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ ആധുനിക മീഡിയകള്‍, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച്‌ സിനിമയും സോഷ്യല്‍ നെറ്റുവര്‍ക്കുകളും, ശ്രദ്ധിക്കലും അവയിലൂടെ ഇതിന്‌ മറുപടി നല്‍കലും അനിവാര്യമാണെന്ന്‌ മുസ്ലീങ്ങള്‍ക്ക്‌ ബോധ്യപ്പെടാനിത്‌ സഹായകരമായിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. ഇത്തരം കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ അനുവദനീയമോ അല്ലയോ എന്ന ചര്‍ച്ചകള്‍ക്കപ്പുറത്ത്‌ യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യത്തിലേക്ക്‌ ചുവടു വെക്കാന്‍ മുസ്ലീങ്ങളെ നിര്‍ബ്ബന്ധിതരാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. സാധാരണ വളരെ നിഷ്‌ക്രിയരായ അറബ്‌ ജനതയും അറബ്‌ സര്‍ക്കാറുകളും ഉണരാനും ഇത്‌ കാരണമായിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. സൗദി അറേബ്യയെ പോലുള്ള രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങള്‍ നയതന്ത്രത്തില്‍തന്നെ ചില നടപടികള്‍ എടുക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. മറ്റു മിക്ക രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിലും യുവാക്കള്‍ തെരുവിലിറങ്ങാനും ഇതു കാരണമായിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. ലിബിയയില്‍ സംഭവിച്ചതും സംഭവിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്നതും തികച്ചും നിര്‍ഭാഗ്യകരമായിപ്പോയി. പ്രശ്‌നം കൂടുതല്‍ വഷളാകാതിരിക്കാന്‍?നമുക്ക്‌ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കാം.

The issue is not Islamaphobia. The issue is what has been happening in the muslim countries. A girl who is 11 year old with down syndrome was arrested upon a fabricated allegation made by a muslim priest. The lawyer in Pakistan said he and his fellow muslim radicals will take the law in their hands, if the girl is not punished (death is the proposed punishment). The issue is our ambassador in Libya was murdered along with three other Americans like you and I. Other communities do not run around and attack others. Other communities do not yell out for beheading like the muslim protesters in Australia did today. People of God will pray for them to have a change of heart. you can protest but you cannot and you must not react with violence, especially when someone comes up with a youtube movie or an article. Come on, the criticism of the very blasphemy law resulted in the brutal murder of two leaders, ministers in Pakistan. As a community it is everyone's right to protest in a modern world. But it must be in a very peaceful way. Do these protesters have anything else to do other than attacking and killing. They kill their own as the media (all media) reports all the time. May God help them change their hearts and also help them to live like people in a civilized society.

A really dumb movie from a felon convicted for fraud and now on probation was made to provoke Muslims and cause the Obama Administration embarrassment. First, although as an American Muslim I totally reject these riots and urge my fellow brethren worldwide to cool it, it is one of the key tenets of Islam that no prophet of Islam (Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus, Muhammad and others) can be represented in any way or shape. Go to any mosque in the world among the $1.6 billion Muslims and you will not find a single image of the Prophets (p). Second, just as many of my Christian (and Muslim) friends took offense when things were alleged between Jesus and Mary Magdalene in a couple of previous films, so too do Muslims when this silly movie makes all kinds of unfounded and highly insulting allegations against Prophet Muhammad (s). Third, a very small number of extremists within Islam is taking advantage of the situation to pursue their own agenda (as happened at our Consulate in Benghazi.) Finally, although I value freedom of speech, in many countries it has been curbed in at least one instance. For example, in many countries such as Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Israel, etc. there are laws against Holocaust denial. Why can't there be similar laws against insulting any religion, including Islam? After all, one can go to jail for yelling "fire" in a crowded movie theater.

If a god has to be protected by laws made by man, in a legislature, and the same god has to be protected by weak and ignorant followers using knife, sword guns bombs suicide vests etc, then that god must be a WEAK and helpless god. God is powerful and He can take a silly joke, and He doesn't need any protection of muslim guys. God did not teach any "honor killing", any public beheading, polygamy any man with dozens of wives.
